The Satellite Coast Research Project has been generously supported by a number of foundations, organizations, and community groups. 

In 2024, the project was awarded a two-year grant from the Science and Technology Studies program of the National Science Foundation (ID 2420069). The following year, in 2025, the project was awarded a Central Coast Regional Equity Initiative grant from the UCSB Blum Center on Poverty, Inequality, and Democracy.

In addition, we have found invaluable partners in organizations in Lompoc and Santa Maria, including the Lompoc Historical Society and Proyecto Campesino.
